ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø, Alaska is known as "The Golden Heart City". It may have started out as a gold rush boomtown, but has proved to be much more than that since its founding in 1901. ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø is the second largest city in the State of Alaska. With the city proper population (2018) around 31,500 and the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø North Star Borough population (2018) at just over 97,000 residents. ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø is full of friendly, hardy and diverse people, many of whom take advantage of outside activities year round.
A 196 mile drive North will take you to the Arctic Circle and a 355 mile drive South will get you to Anchorage with amazing landscape along the way including views of Denali.
