Community-led projects to remove marine debris around Alaska

The NOAA’s Marine Debris Program, the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø, and Alaska Sea Grant announced $1.2 million in federal funding for seven marine debris removal projects under the 2024 Community Marine Debris Removal Grant Program. These projects will remove debris, provide community education, and benefit Alaska’s coastal habitats, communities, and economies.
