Green Dot Brunch and Learn

The Green Dot committee invites all UAF staff and faculty in the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø area to join us for a brunch and learn session on March 20. This session will be focused on UAF’s bystander intervention strategy: Green Dot.

Over brunch, trained members of the UAF community will present realistic and safe ways to intervene in situations of power-based personal violence (an umbrella term for Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, and Stalking). They will explore the 3 D's of intervention; recognize common barriers and how to overcome them; develop strategies to promote campus wellbeing; and provide plenty of time to connect with campus partners.

The event will be held in the Wood Center Ballroom. Doors open at 11 a.m. Training will begin at 11:30 a.m. after a brief word from Chancellor White. Training should last approximately 30 minutes.

We do ask that you register, but both the brunch and training are free.
