Jessica Skipper named finalist for technology administration award
Jessica Skipper, UAF student success system administrator, has been named as a finalist for EAB’s Excellence in Technology Administration Award.
“Many of the students arriving on college campuses today were profoundly impacted by the pandemic and staff have to innovate to ensure these students receive the support they need,” said Scott Schirmeier, EAB president of technology. “The finalists for EAB’s Student Success Collaborative Awards are rising to the challenge, leading with empathy, and using technology in smarter ways to help students achieve their goal of earning a college degree.”
This award is for an individual who has shown exceptional dedication to improving their technology configurations and best practices and who goes above and beyond in their commitment to student success through the help of EAB technology and contribution to the strength of their technology administrator peer community.
“Jessica has been instrumental in implementing cutting-edge tools and platforms that modernize the student experience and enable students to easily access academic resources, connect with professors and advisors, and engage with peers,”said Jennifer Tilbury, associate vice provost for student success.
Of more than 850 EAB partner institutions, only 22 individuals have been named award finalists this year for the six awards. Winners will be announced at EAB's CONNECTED24 conference in January 2024.
