Lisa Slaba new executive assistant and advisor to the chancellor

Lisa Slaba has been hired as the new executive assistant and advisor to the chancellor. In this role, Slaba reports directly to Chancellor Daniel White and provides in-depth assistance to the chancellor on the administration and operations of UAF.

Prior to this role, Slaba was the senior project manager at the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Economic Development Corporation working on military affairs. She has held various roles in human resources, logistics and transportation, healthcare, risk management, and corrections. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Management from Wayland Baptist University, is a Certified Project Management Professional, and currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy from American Public University.

Slaba’s first day was Jan. 13, 2025.
