Mentorship program for first-generation students

The First-Gen Mentorship Program offers first-generation students an opportunity to connect with faculty, staff and alumni across the university who can support them in their endeavors. First-gen college students are those whose parents or guardians have not completed a four-year degree.

Mentors can also connect you to the larger ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø community, provide opportunities to follow your passions, and offer you the resources to help you succeed in your college experience. If you are a first-gen student want to join the program, sign up ! You can also email Claire Swanson at uaf-firstgenak@alaska.edu or call 474-5684.
