New employee welcome event July 9
New employees learn about UAF at welcome event.
A new employee welcome will take place Tuesday, July 9, on the Troth Yeddha' campus. The welcome covers a brief history of the university, along with mission, vision and strategic objectives.
The event runs from 8:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. and includes a brief walking tour of core campus and West Ridge. A sample schedule is available on the Employee Experience website. RSVPs are required by June 28.
Newly hired staff and faculty are encouraged to attend and should receive an invitation directly from Onboarding and Engagement, but they are welcome to reach out to uaf-welcome-team@alaska.edu if they have not yet received it.
