Spring 2024 Career Fair Week info sessions
Career Services would like the opportunity to speak with students for 15 minutes (or less) during class time about the importance of the upcoming career fair week. Faculty and instructors can book a 15-minute in-person or virtual Spring Career Fair Week info session at through Feb. 19.
The goal of these sessions is to:
- Introduce the upcoming career fairs to students
- Explain how to register on Handshake, UAF’s job board and career development platform
- Suggest ways to prepare via our Career Fair Preparation Guide
Career Services is also offering virtual workshops and walk-in advising to help students prepare for the career fair. Anything you can do to encourage students to take advantage of these resources or to attend the fair is incredibly appreciated! Collaboration between Career Services and faculty/staff across UAF is critical to the professional success of our students, and we are grateful for the support you provide on behalf of student career development.
If you have any questions, please contact Nicole Goff at nrgoff@alaska.edu. Thank you for partnering with Career Services to support our students and their futures!
