Timothy Scherer appointed new director of Advising
Timothy Scherer has been appointed the new director of Advising and starts his new role on Oct. 14, 2024. Scherer is a dynamic higher education leader with a proven track record as a fearless learner, influential communicator, and catalyst for change who rallies people around strategic visions, drives innovation, nurtures diverse talent, values collaboration, and creates a sense of purpose that encourages everyone to succeed.
He has served in a variety of roles at Fuller Theological Seminary, culminating in the director of Academic Advising. Scherer has a B.A. in Theology from Middlesex University and a Ph.D. in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary.
In his free time, you'll find him, his wife, and three sons immersed in nature, tending to their vegetable garden, caring for their animals, delving into a good book, or hosting lively gatherings with friends over homemade dinners. Scherer and his family are thrilled to join the UAF community and make ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø their new home.
