UAF livestock researcher to discuss nutrition, herd management

Jim Vinyard, a livestock nutritionist with the UAF Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station, will give a presentation on herd management strategies.

Jim Vinyard, a livestock researcher with the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station, will present a talk on livestock nutrition and herd management strategies on March 6 at 6:30 p.m. The presentation will include a question and answer session.

The North Kenai Peninsula Farm Bureau is sponsoring the talk. Members of 4-H and Future Farmers of America are encouraged to attend.

The event will begin with a potluck at 6 p.m., followed by Vinyard’s presentation at 6:30 p.m. at the Cook Inlet Aquaculture Center, 40610 Kalifornsky Beach Road, Kenai.
