Unlocking Excellence: Student Learning Outcomes, Academic Program Review training
A two-day Student Learning Outcome Assessment training is scheduled for Aug. 13-14 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the BP Design Theater. This comprehensive training will provide faculty with valuable insights and practical tools for enhancing student learning and preparing for academic program review.
A highlight of this event is the participation of Ed Harri, senior vice president of the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. Harri will share his expertise on understanding and assessing Student Learning Outcomes and will engage in interactive workshops with attendees.
The agenda covers a range of topics, including:
- Understanding and Assessing Student Learning Outcomes
- Identifying Student Success Data Trends and Equity Gaps
- High Impact Practices
- Financial Review
- Review Committee Training
- Program Review Working Session
Faculty, especially those involved in academic program review for the upcoming academic year, are highly encouraged to attend this training. In-person participation is highly encouraged, as it provides opportunities for networking and hands-on engagement. Food and refreshments will be provided both days.
