The sport and recreation business program prides itself in preparing students to work in a variety of sport and recreational industries from day one of the program. Students will get real-world experience in a collaborative, career-focused, business-based curriculum that will prepare them for careers on the business side of the sport or recreation industries. Students have the opportunity to tailor their education and coursework toward specific career goals through their choice of electives and concentration areas.
The sport and recreation business program currently offers a Bachelor of Sport and Recreation Business degree with two concentration areas - recreation management and sport management - as well as a separate minor in sport management. The curriculum is designed to give students the skills they need to land a job in the industry they love.
Graduates of the sport and recreation business program go on to careers across a broad spectrum of industry segments, including professional sports, outdoor education, tourism, collegiate sport, hospitality and many more!
