Awards & Opportunities
The Pathfinder Award is an annual award established in 2012 to honor one outstanding ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø staff member who possesses a high degree of ethical standards, compassion and dedication to the academic success of Alaska Native and rural students. This award is open to all staff employed by the University of Alaska ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø, including UAF’s branch campuses.
Meet some of our outstanding DANSRD students.
Selected students will spend 5 weeks during the 2022 season participating in a two-week intensive course and three-weeks of fieldwork in Arctic Village, Alaska. Students are also expected to commit to a second season of fieldwork (2023) in the Bristol Bay region.
