Located in the Rasmuson Library, the 23 Hour Study Room is open to the public during library hours, though intended for students, staff, and faculty. Outside library hours, access is limited to UAF affiliates; the doors are locked and can be opened only with active PolarExpress cards. For more information, call 907-474-7481.
Located in Gruening 510, the Academic Advising Center advises undeclared, pre-majors, AHEAD, and non-degree seeking students, while also offering assistance with registration, adding or dropping courses, academic plans, majors, career services, and more. The Department of Mathematics and Statistics offers free tutoring for students enrolled in UAF Mathematics and Statistics courses. Drop-in tutoring is available in Chapman 305, and online and one-on-one tutoring are also available. For more information, visit the Math and Stats Lab website.
Located at 1788 Yukon Drive, the Student Health and Counseling Center is available to students who pay the health and counseling fee. Students are eligible for 5 free counseling sessions, as well as basic medical services, including: treatment for acute illness or injury, STD testing, pregnancy testing, and immunizations.
